This will be the first monthly meeting to discuss Living with Integrity--Unitarian Values and Beliefs in Practice, edited by Rev Kate Whyman. A range of Unitarian women and men, ministers and lay people reflect on how their faith and values affect their daily lives. They write about navigating relationships, bringing up children, coping with loss and death; ways of engaging with the wider world, including the workplace and politics; and responding to urgent global issues, such as migration and abuse of the environment. Each chapter ends with questions to prompt readers to reflect on their own experiences.
We will meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month before the service to discuss a chapter of this book. For those who would like to purchase a copy, it is available from Essex Hall (Unitarian HQ tel 020 7240 2384) at the price of £8.50
